We're a fast moving bunch at Action Freight Services. We're getting shipments picked and delivered on time, making cut offs and keeping appointments. To make all this happen we have to be a forward thinking bunch. We're proactive in our approach and are always looking out for the next technology upgrade to help us stay one step ahead. Our team understands that we are the extension of our customers in Austin and in San Antonio and we work to maintain those high expectations. Services
When Action Freight was established in 1982 our primary business was unloading freighter aircraft and handling passenger aircraft freight operations. The pick and delivery piece was secondary. A lot has changed in the 30 plus years the company has been in business. We no longer unload airplanes and the secondary Pick up & Delivery piece is now the focus of the company.
Action Freight Services is a full service local trucking company. What the term "Full Service" means to us is that not only do we provide a full slate of trucking we also provide quality customer service. We believe we represent our customers as well as Action Freight when picking up and delivering shipments.
TSA Certified: 100% of our driver and admin staff are TSA screened, trained and certified. Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF): Austin Drivers and staff are trained to screen and transport screened cargo. Security Patrols: A third party security company provides random patrolling and sometimes security guards at both locations.
Action Freight, a local company with over 34 years of service in Central Texas, is always on the lookout for quality individuals to help us grow in the Austin and San Antonio markets. We are constantly looking for Company Drivers, Owner Operators, Warehouse and Customer Service Representatives. We placed an order with one of our manufacturers November 7, 2021, the order shipped through Pilot Freight on December 7, 2021. As of Jan. 18th, 2022 our order cannot be found and nobody is returning calls or emails. When our office manager contacted your office and spoke to a person to explain we are being charged daily by our client for unfinished work, they basically told her they don't care that this delay is incurring $1500/day charges from our clients.

Sadly, it's the same story as all the poor souls before me. Lost my property for a month with call no package arrival.once the company I purchased Fromm called it was found. So far, sat home on Monday and Tuesday - both days a confirmed delivery window of 1pm - 7pm. Both days my property was either "not loaded" or was "not found". I hope they can be put out of their misery. This is NOT a buisness, it's property being held hostage and a public menace. I'll update once I know more

TERRIBLE service. I called Walmart, who referred me to pilot, who then referred me to Action Freight. First call I was told they had my package but I had to wait on paperwork to schedule delivery. Second phone call, I called to ask if I could come pick up my item before Christmas. Lenard said they didn't have it, after Dan said they did. Lenard transferred me to Dan again who sent me and email to "prove" the item was there.

I said it says your company has had the item for 10 days. Dan then got SO ugly with me and said "Well the whole world is behind, you can watch the news to see that." We were going back and forth on the phone after this. I haven't been spoken to this way in years. I drove up to the shop and spoke with the manager. She said at first it wasn't there.

I told her Dan sent me an email that said it was. She then said she could see where it was signed for on 12/6/2021. However they didn't know where my item was or what trailer it was on, nor could give me a date or timeline when my item would be found. Another supervisor found my item in the back and they made me provide my drivers license to get my item.

Manager said they aren't provided labels for which trailer shipments are in. Delivery experience was the worst I've ever had. Super unorganized to the point to where people's items are literally lost in trailers sitting in a parking lot. Happy I got my item, however, terrible terrible experience. Not to mention the box is totally damaged and parts are hanging out.

Trying to get an item ordered through Wal-Mart. I can't get anyone to answer the phone or respond to emails. Item was originally supposed to be delivered 12/6. Tracking said it arrived in Austin 12/15. It is now 12/23 and we still don't have our shipment. Calling 3 times a day with no response!

If you could give negative stars that would be more justified. This place is a joke. The received our shipment from Walmart 11/26, with an expected delivery of 12/3. I understand people are behind, but I called 12/8 and 12/15 since there are no updates on the tracking link. I was told 12/15 that it would be delivered on 12/17 and this is the first time they updated a tracker.

I called today to verify it was out of delivery and the lady told me she didn't know why I was told it would be delivered because its in 1 of the 7 trailers they have not unloaded! Yes, that is 7 trailers of people Christmas gifts, money spent and materials they need that this company is just sitting on. I asked how soon I could expect to receive my 3 week old delivery and of course she has no answers.

So here I sit with no item, the issue of a refund from the company I ordered it from, who is not at fault. I asked to speak to a manager, which she stated the owner is not available but I can email the GM, Mike Parsons. So I have, I am going to guess he replies as quickly as they deliver. Needless to say, this company has no care for people, our money, our time, or quality service. Trust me I will never use them and I wish big box stores would stop also. They should not even be in business.

Worst customer service experience, probably top 2 ever. Not once, but twice we were screwed by this company. The first time I had no idea the package had been sitting there for a couple of weeks. I called to schedule the delivery, and when the package showed up It was beat to hell. We refused it off the truck and contacted Walmart for the return. Of course we wouldn't get a new one in time for Christmas, so I just ordered one without the refund putting me almost $1200 out of pocket.

Second package was delivered to action freight and sat there over a week again. I called almost every other day and it was the same story every time. They can't locate the package yet. It must not have been unloaded from the freight truck yet. Week of Christmas. I get promises of phone calls back that I never received, and call on the 23rd and they're not answering their phone.mad is an understatement.

Never showed up for pickup. Dan, who I spoke with on the phone, offered no reason why other than his driver said he did not have any pickups on his schedule despite it being booked for four days. Refused to provide written confirmation of new scheduled pickup, which was being proposed as five days after original pickup. When asked what would happen if they did not show up again, said it would have to be rescheduled again. Never do business with this company.

What the heck, why is everyone piling on Action Freight? My experience was great.this is a pandemic, things are cookoo. I had an expensive audio amp coming in from Chicago. I called and didn't reach a voice, but they called right back and arranged to go down to pick up my heavy package. I was there like 8 minutes total, and everything was good. Everyone was super polite and helpful.

I ordered a spa at Costco. Delivery was set today from noon to 6. I took off work and paid movers to start the install at 6. Did not see them by 4 and called a Lenard, he said it was on the truck and would probably be the last delivery. It's now 7:30 so I called back and spoke with Ui. He said the driver Tim turned in the paperwork and did not provide any notes.

You I went to the dock and saw my spa sitting out there and it has puncture marks in the bottom from a forklift. He said that's probably the reason why they did not deliver it and will call me back tomorrow with status. Unbelievable Costco uses this horrible company action for any deliveries! This was the last spot available and I've been waiting 6 weeks!

This company is horrible! It appears there an automatic tracking system for pick up and delivery is only used in theory. Spoke to one representative one day to confirm a delivery date and the next day someone else called to say there was no record of an appointment. My box was delivered on the original scheduled delivery date without a "30 minute" delivery notice.

In addition, there was a pick up schedule that no one knew about so the delivery company was confused about swapping out an item. Please keep all your receipts and document every call. Wishing you all the luck you can handle because you will need it with this company. One of the worst experiences ever!

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality After three scheduled deliveries not arriving, we went to Action Freight to pick up our furniture, which we received undamaged. However, after reading the other reviews these pictures speak for themselves.
