Thanks for the 6:45 am jump start Larry! You were professional prompt and courteous and I appreciate your advice on how to keep my battery charged with limited driving in the colder months.

Scott from Advanced Auto Transport rear ended my daughters in Minneapolis while operating a company vehicle. Admitting fault at the scene, he has since reversed coarse and only compensated my daughter for a portion of the repair cost and we are stuck with the rest. She is a hard working nursing student and worked very hard to save enough money for a modest down payment for her "dream car." She had it for about six months and this guy took it away in a second. This place may have great customer service but make no mistake, they do not hold themselves liable for damages they incur with their equipment.

In response to a comment left on YP back in 2009. 1st why post on YP. This is yesteryear. Google As a FORMER employee of Advanced Auto Transport I can tell anyone 1st hand that this is one of the most credible places for and Independent Contractor to work who loves to drive. There are not many of them out there. Their work ethic and support is unparalleled to most of their competitors.

As far as the previous comments left by someone who clearly couldn't figure it out, are completely unsubstantiated. Yes the charge $25.00 dollars for a COMPANY ISSUED license plate. Yes they charge $10.00 for COMPANY ISSUED IFTA documents and Yes they charge $10.00 for their COMPANY ISSUED handbook with their operating authority for both the US and Canada, insurance, policies and procedures.

They also charge $20.00 for a set of COMPANY ISSUED safety triangles to take with you on trips. What the idiot failed to mention in the previous comment is THEY ARE ALL DEPOSITS! If you separate from the company and turn all of COMPANY ISSUED items back in, guess what bozo, YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK. The only thing you will need to purchase from them is clothing but not a lot.

You need to represent yourself as a contractor for AAT when you're in front of the customer. Something any company is going to require. The clothing items you need to buy are cheap in comparison to other companies. Besides, if you leave the company, you can't blame them for not wanting to buy your used shirt back would you? How would you feel if they did do that and you signed up with them.

Then they hand you a shirt that Jabba the Hut lived in for the last year, onion stains in the armpits and wiped snot on the sleeves. Think about it for a second then ask yourself again why you're buying a brand new shirt. Geez I can't believe that was event a comment. Now, as far as dingleberries next comment that they leave you stranded and make you pay for tows and repairs. ALL BS!

Most of the time you are driving a brand new truck. What does this mean? The truck is under WARRANTY. Repairs are made under warranty. Tows are usually covered by the manufacturer. If they are not, the dispatch support team at AAT has the means to pay for the tow. It is not, never has been and never will be the responsibility of the driver. AAT will also cover your downtime or arrange to get you out of that location if warranted. Did I mention they also provide a fuel card?

Their competitors don't. As far as other expenses you may incur such as hotels and food costs, REMEMBER YOU ARE AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR! They are all write offs at the end of the year. if you keep good books the outcome will explain itself. The work fluctuates as it does in any other business. Ride it out and you will do fine. The moron who wrote the previous post on YP is obviously as bright as a brick.

It pisses me off to no end to read crap that someone else writes when they have no clue. Every time a contractor / employee / ANYONE has a question or doesn't understand something, it is your responsibility to ask a question until you do understand. Any company should work with you until you do understand. This company is one of them.
