Shipped two packages by their small packages solution. One took weeks to clear after I provided the invoice. The other took three months due to them using the wrong Trader ID and misclassifying items. They told me they couldn't do anything so I met with customs myself and discovered the Trader ID problem. Then I waited more than another month or so with no update and again went to Customs directly and found out that it was under investigation for misclassifications of items.
I was able to get the items released pending investigation. come to find out they were indeed misclassified. It's obvious that had we not followed up directly with Customs then Bermuda Forwarders would have been happy to do nothing and let our package sit forever and blame Customs instead of taking any responsibility. They have lied below about "working diligently" to get our package released because we were able to do it fairly quickly once we approached Customs directly.
We have of course received no apology or acknowledgement from Bermuda Forwarders that they have done anything wrong. We import items several times a week through a number of courier and shipping companies and never in my business career have I seen such astounding incompetence and indifference.

I would not recommend this company. If you're not there to watch over them they will take advantage of the situation and take their time. Charging you much more than they should, with no repercussions due to limited competition. I would not recommend this company and advise you to seek others for your long or short distance moves. Update to this review, this is about Joe Vieira Trucking specifically which is associated with Bermuda Forwarders.
