Please, please stay away from this business, customer service is bad, delivering is even worst, and that is, if only you get to receive your shipment, most of the time either they lose it or deliver it wrong. I wish Dats and Cross Country could change their third party carrier for the California area. If you call to their customer service to find out where a shipment is, they will only tell you that their Warehouse supervisor is the only who can access to the warehouse information. What? so no one is capable of solving an issue if the supervisor is not available?, then you go and send an email hoping to get an answer and well. what can I say? so if you want to pay cheap and use this mediocre service, go ahead. it is at your own risk. I am at risk of loosing valuable clients because of this company.

Had a delivery there and as soon as I checked in, the guy at the office already had attitude. I was on time and he said the next team to come in will get there after two hours, and there's four other trucks ahead of me. Long story short, I was stuck there for over 8 hours. Will not deliver there again.

Critical: Professionalism Driver in truck 517 from Best Overnight Express, cursing and threatening people in public. Even pointed his pepper spray at someone just because he was being filmed. This guy is too quick tempered to be driving big trucks on public roads.

I watched a video that showed one of their drivers cussing out someone for videotaping and doing a story. The driver threatened to mace the journalist and even threatened to beat him up. The driver then walks up to the journalist and calls him a bi_t_h like ten times. This tells you about this company. They hire trash like that. I won't do business with them ever again. Trash!

The worst shipping company in the world! And we are with years of experience The company sends cargo to Canada with BOL to Miami Florida! And that's not all, the company uses the same BOL of cargo that had already been collected by ploris a few days before its truck driver came to pick up goods for Miami! Shipping now goes to Canada instead of Miami!

And there is no one to talk to, customer service is extremely bad It seems to me that a class action lawsuit should be filed against her based on the comments here. Who will return the goods to the US? Who imports goods without an invoice to Canada? And I did not at all order them to pick up they are a third party who does not listen to the sender. In 2021 and it is not possible to track the shipment on the website - shame

I understand they may be short for driver or truck, but attitude is important. Called them three times for one delayed delivery, still no results or reasonable explanation. The attitude of the customer service representative was very bad. Seems like I own her money or I shouldn't call them. When I said "Thank you", she replied "uh-huh". After telling her the PRO number, she put me on hold for more than 25 minutes, without telling me to wait or give me some simple information.

I don't know what I'm waiting for. Then the call was interrupted or she hung up. Our company has more than 350 orders of logistics transportation nationwide every year, and we will never choose them in the future.

Had an appointment scheduled from 10-2 for an expensive piece of equipment to get dropped off. Not only is the driver running late, but the lack of communication is frustrating. If you know that your drivers aren't going to hit the shipment appointment window, why not contact the customer? I took off work to receive my delivery. Call center chick?

Absolutely rude and not helpful. Your customer service blows and your service is clearly sub-par. Sent an email to the company I purchased from in hopes they look for a different shipping company. Would recommend avoiding dealing with this company until they up their communication and train in customer service. Edit to Add: delivered 1.5 hours late.

The driver was nice enough, but had trouble figuring out how to use his pallet jack and the trailer lift. The second and third rep that I spoke with were slightly more empathetic than the first. Still going to avoid using this freight company at all costs. There's way too many others in the area to have this bad of a first time experience.

The brazen apathy by this company is astounding. This carrier was tendered as a third party by an initial shipper for an LTL load. A 5-7 day window was given. On day 12 after attempting to get any insight to a timeline for the shipment, we finally were able to see the shipment was out for delivery. Repeated calls lead to the company stating "we are unable to identify where the shipment is or when it will arrive to the terminal".

When there was finally a notification of it being on the truck, customer service was again called. "A window of 2-4PM" was given. This was equipment to conduct medical and rescue training which is already in progress and awaiting this equipment (that is already late). When 4 PM came and nothing arrived a call was placed at approximately 4:20. We were then told "sorry dispatch cut the truck off from deliveries" Even though the truck was on a final mile leg, with the shipment on board, we were told hopefully tomorrow. "Or you can pick it up, but we don't know when" approximately an hour away. Infrequently will we write a review but this has been an absolutely absurd interaction with a company that prides themselves on timeliness and quality.

Absolutely no remedy for this issue was provided, and every interaction was only met with apathy. Will not ship with again. Update: after being told that the shipment was held for pickup. On attempt to pick up were told "no one told us, and are too busy to release it".

Worst experience I've had! Followed up four separate times to keep up with my shipment. Spoke with the customer service representative to make sure they called my recipient to make an appointment, they never did. My customer rented a forklift, so that ended up being a waste of time. Now I'm trying to work with them to make this right, so we'll see how this works out. WILL NEVER USE best overnite express, inc AGAIN!

Awful. Unreliable. Don't expect your delivery to arrive as promised. And definitely do not expect them to communicate with you if they plan to not show up. What is the point of scheduling a delivery, taking time off work, and sitting for through the four hour delivery window if no one shows and they can't be bothered to call and let you know they won't show.

And the kicker? They asked to re-schedule for two days later but won't guarantee anything more than "that's the next day that our delivery driver is expected to work". Super unprofessional.

This was the Best they could do. see pictures attached. This was my second delivery from this company. Both arrived late. The driver of my last delivery left a pallet half way into the street. When I asked to see if they could return to fix the safety issue they simply said "no". Do better Best Overnight Express.

What a nightmare! these guys are. The worse trucking company ever. You can not believe anything they tell you. Spend the extra money. The savings you might get from using these guys will cost you more in the end hands down. Not to mention all of the headaches you can avoid by not using them.

Refuse all shipments from these scammers! If you have something shipped make sure the vendor knows not to use these guys. I was told they would deliver cabinets to my garage door, instead the overweight lazy driver dropped them off at the curb even after I told him I had no way to move them to my garage. The Safety Director, Jason Skinner said the driver said it was unsafe - what a crock of lies. And if it was so unsafe why would you allow a customer to move them! These guys don't give a darn about their customers. REFUSE ALL SHIPMENTS!

This Company not only shipped my freight on time, they notified me with a courtesy call, my experience was solid. I was able to pay for my shipment with an E-check which is really what I needed since I'm on the go, Thanks Sharif and Rosa in Accounting for setting me up!

Based on my experience and the other reviews here, it seems like "Best Overnite" is just a group of scammers. The were scheduled to deliver a fridge to me and no-showed, but somehow tried to blame it on me and charge me a fine. I disputed the fine and after endless fighting, managed to get the fridge manufacturer to take care of the fee. We scheduled the delivery again, and once more they no-showed.

When I contacted them to see where they were, they said they lost the fridge. I don't really need to say anything else. If you've made it to this Yelp page, you clearly already know to stay away from this "company".

Definitely NOT Best Delivery. Seriously the worst. Arrived on the wrong DATE and the wrong TIME - before 8 am. This company left enormous wood palettes in my shared driveway - literally left their gigantic garbage in my driveway and then told me they had done me a favor by taking the boxes off the palettes. The palettes were so huge I could not move them myself and had to enlist the help of my neighbor, who was blocked from getting to his home.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the company, continually being put on hold while she sporadically told me it was not their policy to come and pick up junk they leave behind, and that it had been a "courtesy" for them to unpalette the items. A courtesy, really. To show up 2 days early and hours before expected and leave crap in my driveway. How courteous. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

One of the worst trucking companies around. We questioned the driver who he was picking up for, he did not know so we gave them different destinations and he said NJ. We load him, later on the day another trucking company show up and specifically asked with name of the customer and destination for the pallet Overnite took. When we call them to get the pallet back we were the ones that made the mistake according to them even though customer service told us that they do not go to NJ and they can not sent driver back because he has to keep moving.

If a made a mistake a resolve it asap when it seems that for these guys that do not make mistakes is always somebody else fault. He have to called the customer how book shipment with them to get the pallet back since they will not give to us the owners of the merchandise. Now we have a big mess in our hands.

I was so impressed by and appreciative of the service I received from the customer service department regarding a shipment to our business. I realized at the last moment that the ship to address was not our warehouse and it would have been a real snafu to have it arrive at our retail location. I didn't have high hopes with the holiday weekend and the vendor who had shipped closed for the day.

I emailed customer service just asking what steps I could take, and the rep went so far beyond my expectations in finding a contact at the vendor who could authorize the change. I had found myself stressed and crabby earlier, so to have such unexpected assistance come so quickly was incredible. Not the treatment I am used to when it comes to freight companies, ESPECIALLY when I am not the sender who is technically their customer.

Shipment was delivered to my home within an hour into the delivery window. Driver was very courteous and put the shipment in my garage for me with no fuss. As a receiving customer, I found them to be great.

Delivery was scheduled for a 4 hour window. It came half an hour after that window. Poor scheduling on their part which deserves 1 star, no stars if it was allowed. People have things to do and can't spend all day waiting around for deliveries. Learn to schedule things better. Don't use this service if you want something delivered in a timely manner as promised.
