Blackhawk Transport was founded in 1990 with one R model Mack and three Raven flat bed trailers. As a Hendricks Holding Company, Blackhawk Transport has continued to grow through customer expansion as well as acquisition. Today, we run a mix of company trucks and Owner/Operator trucks. Our fleet is comprised of Vans, Flatbeds, and Conestogas available throughout the US and Canada.
Service Sensitive Longhaul (Premium Service and Rates, that allow Brokerage for Blackhawk). Data Collection (Review of Customers Inbound and Outbound Shipments, as well as Yard Management needs). Fleet Optimization (Determines Resources Needed, as well as all Assumptions on Miles and Utilities). Contract Considerations (Outline of Operating Parameters, Service and Reporting Requirements, Equipment Schedules, etc.).

The pay is the best there is, the company over all is the best there is personally. This company literally treats you like family and that's no exaggeration either. My recruiter, Miss Kristina, was the best recruiter I've ever talked to when it comes to any trucking company. She was there day or night for any questions and concerns I have. This is my second time working for this company and this go around my experience coming on was phenomenal thanks to her.

Black Hawk Transport. ummm truck SL 0223 driver that is employed with you, needs to be brought in and educated on the importance of NOT having a 24oz can of budwiser in the truck AND to pour it out right in front of everybody is down right crazy! Whewww chile that would explain why he was leaning as he was walking out of Loves. Prayerfully he hadn't been drinking while driving. PICTURES/VIDEO TO FOLLOW.

Been a driver for a few years and out of all the places I've worked this is the best thus far, I have zero complaints about them. I'm OTR transporting PODS and it's so easy it's almost ridiculous. Top it off with me setting my own eta, no driver manager telling me when to be there it's up to me though best not over do it. They even help me get places I'd want to go easier then most places do. The start pay is good, benefits are good but it's just me so no idea on family plans, and I got my cat with me so I'm pretty happy where I'm at.

Worked here for 2 years now as the safety manager. I was offered a position by chance and I am glad I was. I was told to check out the culture and see if it is a place I wanted to work. I was at the annual truck roadeo and I started talking to the drivers since they will tell you how things really are. All of them had great things to say about the company.
I chatted with the other managers present and made the decision. I sold my own business to come and work for Blackhawk and that should tell you everything you need to know. My drivers are the best in the industry and so is out management team.

I'm a pods driver and been employed since June 11th 2021. My dispatcher is Leah and she is fantastic! Everyone is super helpful and supportive! I even was able to speak to the VP and he was overwhelmingly amazing and friendly. Everything they say, they do. Need repairs? Done. Need miles to pay your bills? Say no more! You don't feel safe? No worries!
Something happens to your truck? First thing asked is "are YOU ok?" Not "is the load going to be on time" or "is the truck ok?" They care about you! They greet you with your name not asking for truck number. Come here with peace of mind and comfort knowing you'll be taken cared of!

I feel Blackhawk is a great company to work for. Good pay, good miles, and great benefits. They have several account, so they should be able to meet your home time request. I personally live close to the main office. So I get though there every week if I wanted to. Everyone in the office is friendly and treats you with respect. If I need to call in my calls are answered and issues resolved. Managers are great and easy to work with.
They will run you as hard as you want to run. Weekends are important to me personally. And they respect that, and work hard to assure that I can get home for the weekend. I would recommend Blackhawk to anyone.
