In order to be voted the Best Trucking Company of Southern Utah, our own team of drivers had to be behind us. This means more to us than winning any award. Listen to our driver, Roxann, who "found her home" at Parke Cox Trucking. I love the excellent equipment. I love the professional shop. I love the help and direction received from the staff. I love the tireless work of the logistics team. I could make a few more cents per mile at other companies but I couldn't say I love working there. I simply love working at Cox.

Treat those you encounter at and for Cox Trucking with respect - other drivers, your logistics coordinator everyone you work with. Mean people suck and we don't hire them. During the last year, we streamlined our operation. We have become much more efficient by developing different types of fleets that work together to meet our customer expectations and our driver's lifestyles.

Buyer beware, this place is a joke. They have the lowest pay in the industry, the ops manager is a reject from England and can't even dispatch a driver without screwing it up. They have every single member of their family involved, and are very top heavy with management. The pay scale is a shell game, and you will not make even 60k per year working there.
Their driver turnover rate is insane, and their senior slip seat drivers are the most miserable people on the planet. Drivers are not allowed into the shop for any reason at all. Keep looking this is not where you want to work.

This is the family atmosphere that many drivers are looking for. Here flexibility for you and your family are key. You will never be a number here. I left only due to leaving the driving profession. If you are looking for respect and professional treatment Cox is for you. Equipment is very new with great safety features. If all you are looking for is the highest pay then go on to the next company. Then when you are sick of how you are treated, come back to Parke Cox Trucking. They understand what the true professional wants.

A handful of really nice people to work with but the VP of operations combined with the absolute lowest pay in the industry just ruins it! If you don't mind warehouse pay and slip seating with a very disgruntled co driver then give it a go, but I recommend going elsewhere. The other bigger company in St George is a better choice.

Pro's=nice equipment, but not the best. Con's= too many to list. Low pay! Hostile dispatch manager Bonus plan is a sham No pay for anything but driving No life insurance Horrible benefits Not consistent freight Whenever they can cheat you they will, they won't lie but they won't be forthcoming either Etc etc etc.

My dad has been a driver at Cox for quite a while now, & I have had the honor of meeting the people who work there and the people who make that place go round. My dad John, has always been a driver my whole 18 years of living & i can definitely say cox has treated him the best, & his family. When I go over the road with him, They always make sure too check up on me as well. Cox is a great place, clean trucks, AWESOME people.

If you are a team don't even try this company the pay is way to low they have no team freight. They don't even understand the concept of running a team. The owners do have an open door policy but they have a closed ear policy so it doesn't matter about the open door policy. Like most trucking companies they will tell you whatever you want to hear at the time so you will leave them alone.

Stopped here while in the area to get my truck and trailer washed The guy was about to go on break but said he would do my truck first I have to say that the wash came out much better than most that I go to and I will definitely use this company in the future when passing through and will continue to do so as long as the level of service is the same Thanks for the great job!

I drove to st George UT to meet with them in person and they were really nice. The pay offered to me was 0.34/mi., extremely low. I test drove their truck while I was there. I'm an honest person nothing to hide nor ashamed of but when I mentioned I was transgendered I think that sealed the deal. They said they would call me back but never heard back from them.
It's a shame people are so judge mental. So, if you are transgendered don't bother. I found a job locally the next day paying me 0.45/mi and so glad Cox Trucking thought I wasn't a good fit for them. By the way I had no ticket or accident and had nearly two years experience. Hope this helps the LGBQ community.

We showed up at Cox, as planned via a morning call about a wash on our motorhome and car. There were several rigs ahead of us, but by mentioning our call, we were first in line in about half an hour. Stag, one of the washer guys, did fine work working us in. He and another fellow did a great job on our rigs. A great place to go.
