Garner Trucking, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business started in 1960 by Vernon E. Garner and Regina R. Garner. Today Garner focuses on transportation, warehousing, logistics management third-party services and equipment repair all operate under the umbrella of Garner Trucking Inc. Our mission statement "Garner Trucking Inc. is a highly skilled network of professional drivers and staff who have made the commitment to exceed customer expectations."During the early years Vern Garner built a solid company foundation with hard work and enthusiasm.
This service is essentially a partnership between Garner Transportation Group and a shipper to handle all of the shippers' transportation needs on an as needed basis. A Garner truck is assigned to the same shipper every day to move whatever the shipper needs transported. Dispatch can be handled by us or directly by the shipper.
Garner is a regional and medium haul carrier. Our lanes of traffic include Ohio and surrounding states - Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Kentucky - and extends through Illinois, Maryland, Iowa, Missouri Wisconsin, Minnesota, as well as western and central New York and New Jersey. Since 1960 Garner Trucking has been committed to exceeding our customers' expectations from the first contact.
Our operations of experienced Transportation Planners, Driver Managers and Customer Service Representatives supply our professional team of drivers with information through on-board communications. Garner Trucking uses OmniTracs mobile communication and fleet management systems. This system interfaces with dispatch software to provide up-to-the-minute status reports and allows our staff to contact a driver at any time. This ensures the best planning for our drivers and YOUR product. As a result, Garner is proud of the average on-time delivery of 99.7%.

They don't know how to run a business. You try to contact them the human resource will never return your calls. They tell you your on one shift and certain days then once they have you out on the road they throw a different schedule at you after you tell them that there was no way possible you can do it. They will not work with you on anything. The don't pay you for 3 weeks after you start. By far the worst company I have ever worked for.

I have worked for Garner for almost 9 years. They have always been fair and treated me like part of the family instead of an employee. I was going through some tough times at home and Sherri (the company owner)was there for me! I have a great supervisor and coworkers which makes it easy to go to work. Garner is a great place to work!
