This Company is hands down the best trucking company out there, in my opinion! And everyone else's Opinion who works for Gulick Trucking Inc. reason is because you get to choose what ever truck you want! And you get to customize it the way you want it to look. They don't do force dispatch! Which means you get to choose where you want to go. It is a owner operator based company. So, you need quite a bit of experience.
Unless you have a inside man! What's the pay like? Well, I'll make it simple. You get paid every 2 weeks. You won't have a truck payment for the first 60 days. And say you made 17,000 in a month. Out of that, you get 80%. From there, you pay about $12,000 A/M for your truck, 2 types of insurance, fuel, trailer usage, and savings account for repairs/maintenance for only your tractor.
Any repairs or maintenance that is needed for a trailer. Gulick will cover the expenses. Unless! You ran something over or kissed the curb with the trailer tires. Then you'll pay for the tire (s). After expenses! The rest is yours to use for whatever you want! After 3 years of paying for the truck. It should be paid off, $4900 A/M. So, that money that you would typically use to pay for the truck payment will now be your money.
Which means you'll be able to use it for whatever you want! Also once when you're $10,000 repair, savings account is maxed out. Then $850 bi-weekly will be going into your pocket instead of into the savings account. How! If you choose to have a $20,000 or higher savings account. Then $850 bi weekly will go into it, until it hits the cap. And if you use it.
Then they will take out what ever, bi weekly until it's maxed out again. TRUCKS ARE GOVERNED AT 70MPH BECUASE STEERS ARE RATED FOR 75MPH. DO NOT GO FASTER THEN 75MPH BECAUSE IF YOU DO. At 76MPH Everyone within the company and the insurance company will get an email! And safety will call you. After your load. Scanning in the paperwork and sheet cover is stupid easy!

It's a ok company. I worked for them for 2 years and made decent money. Trip planning and dispatch has its ups and downs. But most companies do. be prepared to have them keep your money after you turn in your truck for more than a month. 10 k escrow plus my last check. guess the greedy owners need it more than my family. but as they say. it's in the contract.

They are a Pro Owner Op company to be leased onto. NOT a strictly Owner Op company to get your truck loaded. There's a difference between the two!. too much to be specific for an opinion / rating post. Simply put. (Pro) they keep you rolling (Strictly) you roll more often than less in how AND where you would like

Great company to work for 1 of a kind won't find one like it in this great country good people great fuel discounts great freight etc. Looking to be a lease driver won't find one like here no gimmics strait up lease contract. These guys have the customers even when times are tough if your thinking about getting a truck or have one won't be disappointed.
