Jerry A. and Bonnie P. Hatchett started Hatchett & Hatchett Trucking Co., Inc. in March of 1982 with a cousin, Bobby Hatchett and his wife, Linda. Jerry & Bonnie ran the business out of a back room in Jerry and Bonnie's home. After just a few years, Bobby and Linda retired from trucking, leaving Jerry and Bonnie as the sole owners.
We operate a fleet of 15 late-model Peterbilt tractors and 34 53' x 102 air ride dry vans, all equipped with e-track logistic posts (for securing loads). We can serve all 48 states but currently do not serve New York or any of the New England States or any states that we have to go through New York to get there. We haul food-products, non-hazardous materials, mostly glass bottles, packaging materials, some textiles, furniture and paper products.
Future employees, drivers and operations managers. Since the picture at the bottom we have added one more Grandchild the Sweet Little Granddaughter in the Red and White Stripes Each of our 8 grandchildren are at the office occasionally some days, Monday through Friday, and help answer the phones at times. If you hear a little one say "Hatchett Transportation may I help you" don't be surprised.
