Rock Miralia established Distribution Technology in 1969 and had more than 50 years of experience in logistics management. Rock oversaw the long-term strategic planning for the organization and served as a mentor to his sons, Tom and Mark Miralia. Founded with a mission to operate a closely held business, Rock successfully led the company for nearly forty years.

10/23 Arrived at 702 am for a 8 am appt. Mdv load 397979. I was put on the door just before 8am. Flynn loaded my trailer on door 31. He did a wonderful job balancing the weight. Thank you for all the wonderful work. Arrived at Distribution Technology 1411 Continental Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28273 at 115pm for a 3pm appt time. I did not get on the door until after 4pm.
Why have appointments if you will not honor them. LtL companies roll in and out like clock work with no waits but guys with appts wait. Thank you for your reply in this matter. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated. I am replying to the questions in the response. I checked in at the guardahack at 115pm. I was told my freight wasnt ready and to park in the yard.
I checked in again at the guard shack at 3pm which was my appt. I was told again my freight wasnt ready. I was called at 415pm to go to door 35. Your office personal didnt apologize didnt explain just gave me a pink slip and told to go stand by door 35. Your dock loaders are great guys. Very fast when they load. The company I drive for is MDV Spartan Nash. I'm picking up freight for Mdv Spartan Nash. The freight is Mario Olive.

2nd time I've picked up here. Arrived at 11am, appointment is at 1 pm, I'm in a day cab. I can see the product I'm suppose to pick up on the dock. Not alot of trucks here. But nobody really working, or even starting to load me. Last time I was here was the same situation, waited over 3 hours the last time. Even showed up early.i have picked up at many places in my 20+ years driving. This is one of the worst.

Arrived at this location for a pu of a very small load. Arrived 3hrs early; appt at Noon, arrived & checked in with guard around 9. I was early bc 1. ELD & 2. I had a 10+ hr drive. They were not busy at all. Maybe 2 other trucks came & went. Inquired with a warehouse person if they were possibly waiting on another truck for something that they may have needed for my load.
He said No. At 11:53 i was finally given a dock. I was loaded in 18 min. Which is great. People who work in warehouse were great. Very quick & efficient. But whoever decided that its okay for a driver who is happily hauling cargo across the globe to wait 3 hrs is bad for business. Waiting bc its busy, is understandable but this was not. Unsure of who thinks that this is acceptable or what type of rules or guidelines this falls under but someone needs to take a look at how this warehouse is being operated.
