If you don't see the place you need to go, call us! Our versatile landing crafts allow us to land on and access many remote areas of the San Juan Islands. We are available for regularly scheduled water-taxi and freight transportation runs, and private charters as well. Along with the services we provide for home-owners on the inhabited San Juan Islands, we also provide transportation to the different state parks, preserves and other outdoor recreational spots.There are several resorts and airbnb properties that we provide direct service to.

James Island is a small, entirely state-park island with several camp grounds. It is conveniently located close to Skyline Marina and only a fifteen minute boat ride away. Find more information on the WA Parks website here. Sucia Island has several different camping areas. We are able to provide service to both the main dock, as well as Echo Bay on the north end of Sucia.

We depart from Skyline Marina in Anacortes. Our office is located next to the main marina building and the address is 2011 Skyline Way. The ramp down to our two boats is located close by the office. From Commercial Avenue- the main drag in Anacortes- head west on Highway 20 Spur/12th Street (across from Safeway).

We always use Island Express when traveling to the islands without fairy service in the San Juans. They have always been very friendly, helpful, and the communication is fantastic. They always let us know if they anticipate changes in weather that may affect service, and they make sure conditions are safe for travel. I definitely recommend using Island Express for service to the San Juans!

Breath of fresh air. Been on Paraclete taxi the last few years and I am happy to have made the switch. My first time with Island Express was exactly what I needed. They left on time, not early, and made their drops without delay. Friendly pilots and crew. I will look forward to next time!

The ferries have been running up to 2+ hours late every day. I took the water taxi from Olga today and the boat was a few min early and the crew friendly. I highly recommend them.

This is an excellent provider of transportation services among the San Juan Islands. A family owned business that goes out of its way to meet the needs of their many customers scattered among the various islands that do not enjoy ferry service from the state ferry system.

We love having Island Express available to visit our remote cabin. Good staff and great community feeling on the boats. You need to give them time to get back to you about scheduling but if you build that in to the process it's not a big deal. I leave a message and usually hear within a day or two.

The folks at Island Express are awesome! I've been on several different charter boats throughout the Puget Sound, but Island Express is hands down the best. Genuinely great people that go above and beyond for their customers. I will certainly be booking my next trip with them!
