J&A offers competitive rates on FTL service throughout the US and Canada with capacities far beyond that of the average asset-based carrier or third-party logistics provider. Every day our Carrier Services team taps into its network of over 10,000 asset-based providers to access a variety of equipment, including dry-vans, refrigerated trailers, and flatbeds to service your specific needs.
Maximizing profitability in today's hyper-competitive marketplace is a constant challenge. Transportation costs can severely erode your bottom line, especially if shipping over long distances. J&A Freight Systems' clients are able to mitigate these costs by taking advantage of our extensive rail services.
Flatbed shipments can be a source of anxiety for even the most seasoned logistics professional. Choosing step-decks as opposed to double-drops, or four-foot tarps versus full tarps, securing your valuable cargo with straps or chains; these are all crucial decisions each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
J&A Freight Systems was created to service the customer needs of a Chicago-based warehousing company. We have used these roots to create a network of warehouses throughout the United States to manage the needs of various domestic and multi-national corporations. With a particular acumen in the storage of food grade products, hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, and minerals, J&A Freight Systems allows its clients to expand their footprint to new markets without the capital expense of maintaining commercial warehousing space.

This company would get 0 starts if Google had an option for it! Im looking at DAT and trying to book a load they have posted. Some guy picks up the phone and we talk about the load, we agree on price and he tells me " oh sorry there are some safety problems with your MC ". I ask him what's wrong with our safety? He just hangs up the phone. Please watch out for this people they are playing games

Bad company to work for as well as bad company to do business with. I highly recommend that you do business with other trucking companies that will ensure that your freight needs will be met at higher standards.

We used J&A and would NEVER use them again. We had significant damage to our shipment and they helped to work with the shipper on a settlement. The settlement that came back was insulting and wouldn't even cover taking the family out to a night at the movies. J&A didn't even stand by us and offer to cover some of the expenses as well (although not their responsibility, it would have been a good faith effort).

If J&A is responsible for brokering, you would think that they would look out for their customers and broker with reputable companies. If you want to use a shipping broker, use one who is going to stand by YOU and not the shipper.
