Absolutely professional. I must've talked to 5 or 6 "brokers" before I found Brian at Number 1 Transport. Their quote was a bit higher than most others but their reviews were good, and even excellent. Brian spent time on the phone with me, took all my calls and even called me with updates. On the first day of my pickup window he confirmed the carrier and the next day pickup.

Then it got even better. Clean Transportation, LLC and its owner/driver, Ivan, picked up my antique car in SoCal at the exact time he promised and delivered it to the central coast of OR at the exact time he promised. Wow. I recommend Brian at Number One Transport and Ivan at Clean Transportation without reservation. Pay a bit more and get your car moved without a worry. They exceeded my expectations.

Thank goodness for James Ryan & Number One. James. Was very caring, patient & most of all thoroughly knowledgeable about the business. He answered all my questions & followed up when I asked. We received sufficient notice before pickup & were given exact time of delivery by the driver. My wife's Jaguar, her baby, & my PT Cruiser convertible were handled with kid gloves by Kevin, the driver. Thank you James for what I thought was going to be a nightmare ship to Florida. Sam Green came to our rescue when we were in a pinch from another company canceling on us. We had booked to have our vehicle shipped from SF to Portland with another company (SF auto Transport/USA Auto Transport), but one day before our move, they cancelled the job. Fortunately, we were able to find Sam who hustled, worked his magic, and within ONE HOUR was able to find us someone to transport our vehicle!

On the day of pick up, the dispatcher (Mike, One Wheel Trucking) came, adeptly brought it onto his trailer, and also kept us updated on the status throughout delivery. We are so grateful to Sam for his help, he was great to work with--absolutely reliable, efficient, friendly and communicative! And thank you Mike for getting our vehicle here safely! If we ever need to ship our vehicle to another state, we will be sure to ask for Sam again!

I usually don't write reviews for any company but this one honestly deserves it. It was my first time having the need to transport my car from one state to the other in my case (NYC-FL) and I feel extremely satisfied with their Service, Brian was super helpful in scheduling the car pickup and the driver was very communicative and responsible. After researching many transport companies, reading so many reviews, I decided on Number 1 Auto. I needed a trucker with an enclosed trailer to pick up my new car at a dealership many hours away from my home. I requested a specific date and was given a short window which was nice. I also requested a copy of the truckers liability insurance and was given that with no problem.

Number 1 Auto gave me the truckers cell phone number and I was in contact with the trucker from the day before the car was picked up to the time it was delivered. The trucker was very friendly and nice. The delivery went very smoothly and would recommend using Number 1 Auto. I had a positive experience with them.

I was super anxious about the process of shipping my car from FL to MA and having a hard time finding someone who I felt I could trust. James Ryan was absolutely fantastic, transparent about the price and process of auto shipping, and extremely understanding and accommodating about some of the particulars of my situation. My car was picked up and dropped off safely and on time. I'd absolutely recommend Number 1 Auto Transport and would use them again.

I was really nervous shipping a Tesla across from the Midwest to PNW. Even when I was shopping around quotes, Number 1 Auto Transport was really helpful, recommended checking BBB/yelp/car shipping reviews for their competitors and making sure I knew what I was getting. It was really important to me that my car stayed on one truck from pickup to drop off and surprisingly not ever company does that.

I decided to go with Number 1 Auto transport because they had an honest quote about in the middle (ie not suspiciously low and they actually emailed it to me, other sites would only quote verbally or on their website which I couldn't document as easily). The whole shipping process itself was super smooth - Brian helped me pick a week for pickup based on when I wanted my car delivered, and I got helpful emails about what to expect, when my truck was coming, etc.

The driver was also awesome - called me a day ahead of when we had coming with approx time and the again a few hours before when he was delayed by an hour due to an accident. My car nearly beat me to the PNW, but the driver was able to do other deliveries in the area and do mine when I got there the next day. Awesome experience and Number 1 really made me feel like a valued customer, checking in throughout and after delivery. Highly recommend to anyone and confirming these guys know what they are doing (good quote, great process, perfect timing, no damage to car on open transport).

We had a terrible experience with RoadRunner auto transport. After 10 days of neglect by customer service at roadrunner, we decided to call number 1 auto transport. The service between the two companies is night and day. We were given a contract and very accurate dates for the car transport. The pick up and delivery happened exactly the way Marc (salesperson) said it would play out.

From the broker to the driver (start to finish).they get 10 STARS! Very straightforward and honestly folks, you get what you pay for. Phone conversations to contract is very straightforward. The broker spelled it out and it went exactly as promised. The driver and I had direct contact and he kept us apprised. I can't say enough of this company! They came at one of the worse times in our life when we needed a responsible and trustworthy company that gave us the piece of mind that everything was going to be fine! We got scammed by Copart buying something that they claimed that it "Run and drives" and when we got there (Texas) 1,200 miles away from home we realized that it was false advertisement!

The Huge Ford F450 did not run! Not only that, they refused to refund us our money since they already had charged us and they were not willing to be fair and enough to not to charge us storage fees until we find a towing company able to bring a Medium Duty truck out of state! After contacting several companies without luck we found this company. We could tell they were top notch since the beginning!

Just had 3 of our precious (to us) vehicles shipped to another state and Number 1 brokers were super responsive and patient with me and my gazillion questions and concerns. The driver/operators were professional and personable. The first one had a rig that was too big and was kind and understanding when I asked for another transport. The 2nd was very efficient and did a great job handling our rigs, treating our running vehicle just as carefully as our rolling project.

First time shipping a car from long island to florida was a little nervous at first, theres a first time for everything. Spoke to a gentleman name james (jimmy), broke down all the details verbally and in contract. Whatever he said from start to finish was done and promised. Got my two vehicles picked up on time and dropped off in less than 2 days which was earlier than expected. Got my vehicles exactly the way i dropped it off.

Was an excellent experience getting our car from Hawaii to New Jersey. There were no hassles with the driver upon delivery and the car was delivered in the same condition it was dropped off. Their representatives were very professional courteous and had excellent follow up. All in all a great experience!

I never write reviews but I had to this time. I did a lot of research on other car transport companies and they started to sound too good to be true because the prices were really low. Other companies were also really pushy and constantly calling me. But this company is the real deal. James Ryan was very down to earth and very helpful. I needed my car moved from New York to Georgia.

The car was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. I also used them to have my mother's car moved as well. Perfect service both times. And the truck drivers themselves were very friendly, so that's a plus! Go with them, you wont regret it!

Extremely efficient- they took care of getting my Tesla delivered perfectly. Stu was very helpful in arranging. They wouldn't take any money until they delivered. Much better that others I called. If you have read reviews for many of the others you'll see why Number 1 made the experience very low stress and easy to deal with. Definitely I would use them again. They handled the way you would expect and hope a company would.

Let me start by saying, I've never transported a car, I was reading all of the horror stories on many transporters that gave me a "cheaper price, then the price raises etc. peoples cars got stuck in storage, damages etc." I was so scared honestly. John R called me here gave me an estimate told me take your time, do some homework find out who you want to choose.

From talking to him on the phone he was straight forward, that's how I like it, no beating around the bush stuff here. This guy picked up my car in a Tuesday(Texas to northern VA ) arrived Saturday. Impossible no way! Yep they did it, car arrived perfectly 0 issues. I am SOO happy I chose this company. I will refer all my family and friends to these guys. THANK YOU!

Number 1 has given me a partial refund. I think they have earnestly tried to correct the gross neglect of the transporter. To their credit, they have apologized a number of times, and have discontinued using the Step by Step Auto Transport as a result of this incident. I wish none of this ever happened. Regardless of the value of the Porsche, I have always taken great care of the cars I have owned. So, it was not just an expensive car, but an extension of the value I place in motor vehicle ownership. I wish them the best!

This is my second review for Number 1 Auto Transport and one that is about two months overdue. I used Number 1 Auto Transport for a second time this past February. My experience with them was again perfect. Joe remembered me and made sure that everything would go off without a hitch. Joe told me exactly when my car would be picked up. The driver who picked up my car called to tell me when he would be coming and then again when he was close by.

The driver who delivered my car did exactly the same thing. These guys were pros from beginning to end. Given the nightmare stories in this business, Number 1 Auto Transport is a blessing. I would still give Number 1 my highest possible recommendation.

I should have wrote this earlier but eventually I forgot ti write a review. So it was 3 weeks ago and I bought my 2015 mustang at Denver, Colorado. I needed to be shipped to San Jose, California. I got countless calls and emails from everywhere. I didn't know which one to choose and decided to see Yelp's review. Joe is the guy who contacted to me and gave excellent service to me.

He called and sent a message to me so I can know the process and explained everything that I asked clearly. The car was shipped at the exact date with perfect condition. I'm 200% satisfied how he take care of his customers and he double checked even the car was shipped to make sure everything is okay. Gonna call him again if I need another car to be shipped and anybody who gets a call from Joe, do not hesitate to make a contract with him. I wish I can give 10 stars to him.
