Every time i have come here I've had to wait hours to be even noticed. They are quick with loading, but they help out whoever they assume was before another even after mentioning you were there before the other person. Place is a mess and their log book is full. I highly suggest you do not use their services as they barely care for the cargo as they slide it around on the ground and be wreckless with it. They also put their own garbage all over the place without a care in the world.

Dudes smoke inside the Warehouse, been rude to one of my drivers. They got signs posted about not using the doors but then ask you to open them and dock your trailer. Normally pretty quick and pretty tight parking for a 53 footer.

On 1/11/2017, I received an email stating, "A representative from our local Pilot Freight Services office will be contacting you to schedule a delivery appointment window within 2 business days." I was not contacted, so on 1/17/2017, I made contact with the Kansas City office of Pilot Freight. I was told delivery of the item had been contracted to Land Air Express of Joplin, MO and I would need to contact their office.

When I contacted Land Air Express of Joplin, MO, I was told, "we don't have the item, and someone will call you when we get it." I received a call at 10:00am on the 19th stating the delivery is scheduled for between 12:45 pm and 2:00 pm that day. I informed the dispatcher I was at work and it would be 12:00 noon before I could leave and that I would arrive at home to take delivery by 2:15 pm.

She said she would tell the driver. At 12:00 noon, I contacted the driver by phone and told him I was leaving Kansas City and would be there to take delivery at 2:15 pm. He stated He didn't think he could wait and I ask him to wait and explained I had taken off work and was driving 106 miles home to meet him and it cost me and my wife each a half days pay.

He did not respond. We arrived home at 2:10 pm and the driver was not there. I called the freight Dispatcher and she said, "Drivers don't wait and you will have to wait until the next Tuesday or Thursday that we have freight going to Fort Scott." Both the driver and the customer service person were very rude and inconsiderate. I called the main office for Land Air Express, their representative said, "We have no control over the local terminals." They did know the terminal owner in Joplin, MO by first name when I began relating what had taken place.

I called Lyn, the owner of the Joplin terminal, he said, "We don't wait on people and I don't have time to talk to you", and he hung up. The call lasted less than 15 seconds. I have canceled my order with Walmart, I have related these issues to them, I have ordered the product from another supplier and when I get shipping notification, I will cancel this order as well, if either Land Air Express or Pilot Freight Services are involved in the handling of my order.

Ok Get this, in order to have any products delivered by these guys you have to OVERNIGHT them a check. NO Credit card accepted. NO Paypal. YOU have to get in your car and OVERNIGHT A CHECK! so you get screwed by the Over night services! WAKE UP Land Air Express! this is not the 80's. How in the WORLD can a company operate when customer has to jump through so many hoops!
