Utilizing Owner Operators, company drivers, and high quality sub-haulers MDS Chicago can provide cost effective, on-time service for all your Midwest shipping. We have a secure, monitored container yard as well as access to a full service warehouse partner for trans-loading, and storage.
The Charleston, SC facility for Maritime Delivery Services is located in the areas industrial heart and serves all of the South Carolina State Ports Authority's container facilities as well as two major rail hubs. Our dedicated fleet and owner operators provide on time delivery and pick-up service to customers throughout the South Atlantic area.
Maritime Delivery Services offers full service local and over the road container drayage from our Savannah, GA facility. Serving customers in the Savannah areas and throughout the South East and Gulf areas, we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest service and safety standards. MDS has interchange agreements with all steamship lines serving Savannah's port.
All cargo shipments moving overland within North America are governed by weight restriction laws established by both federal and local government agencies. The consequences of exceeding the legal limit are fines, liability claims, equipment damage and/or extra costs such as transloading. Certification must be passed to the carrier prior to tender of the load for intermodal transport.
