Since then, we have been licensed as a Custom House Broker, NVOCC, Personal Effects Mover, and Truck Broker. In addition, we have 150,000 square feet warehouse primarily for handling agricultural products under controlled refrigerated storage and another 70,000 square feet leased warehouse to handle general commodities and for our Container Freight Station Operations.Conveniently located on the West Coast, we are in the best position to provide "Total" and "Complete" Door to Door service for international cargo.
Services
Our Parent Company, Maruzen Showa Unyu Co, Ltd, was established at Yokohama, Japan, in 1931, and by 1941, had expanded to 23 new branches in the Tokyo-Yokohama area. It ceased opetations during World War II but after the war it succeeded in a restoration exceeding its pre-war level, enabling the company to establish a world-wide network of over 150 offices with the concept of "Total Transportation by Land, Sea and Air" for its customers' satisfaction.
Bonded cargo arriving from overseas by ocean container to our bonded Container Freight Station (CFS) is transloaded into trailers which are trucked to destinations in Mexico or the interior of the U.S. We also transload from trailers coming from Mexico and or the interior of the U.S. for export overseas as well.
Our main warehouse has 3 separate loading dock areas with a toral of 20 truck height loading docks, allowing us to accommodate our operational requirements. The leased facility used for our CFS operations also has 20 loading docks. We provide value added service, such as apple and citrus bagging at a customer's request.
