We are Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT), the safest, and most professional transportation company in the Southwest. Our founders Royal Jones and Jimmy Ray were the first truck drivers at Mesilla Valley Transportation.

In the late '80s, MVT went through a controlled growth and began servicing the 48 states and Canada, and was rapidly recognized as the leader in quality service and on-time delivery.

My husband has worked for this company for the past 3 years. This was his first truck driving job and we up and moved our whole family from California to Las Cruces to team up with his cousin driving. Everyone who works for the company is so sweet. The dispatchers keep you really busy if you're up for it. The office staff answered every question we ever had.

He was OTR for the majority of the time, but once we had another baby he wanted to be home with her more and switched to local driving. This didn't pay enough and that's the only reason he's leaving.to find a local job that will pay more. Other than the fact that he reached the ceiling at this company, I have no negatives

My family and a trailer full of horses was nearly crushed today by one of these reckless, negligent drivers. We were passing her in the left lane, and the driver swerved into our lane suddenly. We did nothing to provoke this driver into trying to harm us. We had to slam on the brakes so hard that they locked up. It was a close call; if we hadnt slammed on the brakes we would have been crushed into a concrete barrier on the freeway.

Our horses fell on top of each other in the back. We called the company and apparently no action is being taken against this driver. We were lucky to be okay, but I am concerned that if this driver keeps up her utter disregard for others' lives, she may cause a pile up next time.

Here is the scoop, otr driver, 63 mph truck, no idle truck, battery powered apu, charge lasts 1 to 10 hours, no rest in hot truck because apu cuts off, owner has international dealership and uses the company to sell his trucks to, dispatch runs about 60-70 trucks each, dispatch will lie to get driver to do work as to say load is drop and hook when is live load, pay 38 cents, 42 with 5 years in some areas, 50 percent of new hires leave within a month.miles are few.2000,e lpaso is better than Nashville, nashville is the worst place short runs and will try to keep driver in low miles area, stay away from southern runs, live load and unload everyday, must cheat on logs or less miles than 2000 a week, like sitting in dock 4-5 hours then leaving and having to log dock time and sleeper time so you can make the 400 mile run before next morning delivery.dispatch calls constantly on drivers day off, never really get a day off because always trying to get short runs covered, the worst trucking company aroundespecially from driver/dispatch relations, 25 dollar a day advance on fuel card, super single tires, a real shame from a drivers position, must say elpaso people in, logs, payroll, safety are a pleasure, thx

Well, apparently its okay for drivers employed by this company to text while they drive. On 1/22/2017, at 6.30 PM, going North on I-10, North of Canutillo, South of the Vinton exit, I looked ahead to see a MVT truck driving erratically. It was in the right lane, weaving in and out of the right medium on the side. I was in the passing lane on the left and as I got up to the truck, the cab light was on and I could clearly see the driver had his phone out and was texting. I emailed this company the following day and have received no response. It used to be that truckers were the professionals on the road. No more.
