Moran Transportation

Nobody answers the phone. Doesn't seem like my call is very important to them, although I heard that being repeated every 5 seconds as if it was taunting me. What in God's name does it take to schedule a delivery with this godforsaken company?

TRUCKERS REVIEW: This place is a JOKE! We delivered 9 skids to this place. I called the receiving myself and they said receiving hours are 8 AM-4 PM no appt needed. My driver showed up at 3:15 PM and they said: 'I don't have anybody to unload you right NOW you will have to come back tomorrow' It was 5 guys seating on the forklifts and playing with their phones doing nothing. What a disrespectful place for the drivers. BEAWARE!

I came across a Moran Truck at I-90 going West from the Illinois Medical District all the way to O'Hare. The driver was reckless and wouldn't yield on anybody and even almost crash on my car coz he wouldn't want to go behind me even I have the right of way. Twice! This driver even has the nerve to stare and flip on me. and stayed in front and beside me through out Elmhurst Rd. Exit trying to not let me pass and dare me to do something.

He even stayed on the NO truck lane (left most lane)! This driver is a reflection of how this Moran company will treat its customers. A terrible experience already even I haven't used their service yet. I hope this driver will somehow meet a cop or state police in an undercover vehicle so he can be busted and have one less terrible driver off the street.

I just wanted to say what great service we got! The Moran Transportation driver was helpful and helped bring our Uline product inside and after that, he shoveled snow off the sidewalk for an older couple across the street. This is one of a kind service and the driver deserves to be recognized for his good deed. This driver truly went above and behind. I will be ordering from Uline more knowing that they partner with good people like that Moran driver.

They called and left a message for us to schedule a delivery appointment. Less than an hour later a driver was at our house and now I have to have four 200 lb cabinets sit in my driveway until I can get someone to help me bring them inside. Just ridiculous

Driver call me and asking me cash money, when I told him I already paid, he still asking me cash money, when I refused to pay him he drop my pallet on street. Please please please DON'T use this company,

Driver tried to back up my drive, missed it completely and since the snow was so deep he got stuck and tore up my yard badly. I ended up using my own truck to pull him out after about 30-40 minutes. I will be turning a bill in to repair my yard in the spring. Driver was apologetic but still responsible. Also I had a delivery date all set up and I stayed home all day waiting for them to arrive. They never arrived and no phone call so I called 2 hrs later and complained. The person I spoke with took care of it and they were delivered the next day.

Terrible experience time and time again! Today I had a driver drop a pallet off for the company I work for. All of our supply drivers take the pallets out of their trucks and leave them on the dock for us, except for this one. Today's driver decided that he would bring the pallet to the end of the truck for me, after demanding that I open the door and drop the dock plate.

The door I can handle which I said I would, but the dock plate I cannot do alone due to how it is a 2 person job. He insisted he was doing it as a courtesy this time, but WILL NOT be doing it again in the future. Then after I went to pull the pallet out of the truck, he watched me struggle due to the decline of the dock, and rather than helping me continued to watch.

Another gentleman from our dock took my pallet jack to help and pushed it forward to get a running start, and lo and behold this driver suddenly felt in the mood to assist without being asked. I am INFURIATED with how he thought helping a man do the job is fine, yet his comfortability of watching a woman struggling was acceptable. This has not been our first bad experience with him, but I hope its the last.

Moran is my go-to LTL carrier. They provide all the services for me and figure out what I need before I do. I've been using Moran for the past 3 years and have never had any big problems. Their trucks with liftgates help me delivery my product to my customers with out docks. Joe, Rob, Tangy in Dispatch are always there if I need anything and always provide a great service to my customers. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Moran, their staff has gone over and above to satisfy our shipping needs, they worked hard to provide us with a custom solution that met our needs and budget. We are quite pleased. Rob, Mike, & Tangy are always great to deal with!
