Mystic Transportation was established in 1987 by Tom Glynn. Prior to this, Mr. Glynn spent 20 years as a shipping manager for a large paper mill in Windsor Locks, CT. In 1989 Tom's daughter Sandi joined him and they grew the business into what it is today. The business initially started in Mystic but kept out growing offices until 1998 when Tom bought the present location in Stonington, CT.

What separates Mystic Transportation from other trucking companies and brokerages is the fact that we are both. It's important for us to be able to move our customer's freight without having to rely on someone else. That's why Mystic Transportation has a fleet of trucks and owner operators so we are never in a position where we have a problem fulfilling our customer's needs. We are a very hands-on company, and even management will often haul freight just to be sure we can provide "Service Beyond Expectations".
