I will say Mike is a good guy runs the Gravel Train Division. I was sad they ran out of work for me. I appreciated Mike gave me a good review based on my driving a true professional. I gave 2 stars because of Mike. The owner charges 1,000 dollars of your money to pay his own insurance. Sad this rich guy said he would pay for physical and drug screen but when he ran out of work for me for GraveTrain he took it out of my last check. This was a disgrace a real example of what is wrong with America . Anerican greed.

Worst experience I've ever had with an employer in my 20 years in the working force. Run from here!

Was hit by one of their truck drivers punched in my front bumper. Was told by sheriff's deputy who responded to my 911 call that the damage was under a thousand dollars and was told he wouldn't write an accident report then he told me to take a blow dryer to it it will fix it. We're in a no fault state and I wasn't at fault. The Lady from safety at north star ranch told me to Google it I could fix it for free.

Truck driver said he didn't hit me. Oh when I called to talk to the owner I was transferred to Angie who took my info and said she would give TNT owner my message. Never received a phone call. Guess they don't care about how their drivers handle their trucks or how they speak to the public. Thank you for listening.

Truck 088 trailer 1202 going north on US23 in the far left lane. With no turn signal on decided to come right over into the center lane where I had to swerve to avoid him smashing into me. As I went around hi. I could see him laughing then proceeded to run another car completely off the road getting into the right lane, again no signal. Drivers like this has no business behind the wheel and give us truck drivers who actually care a bad wrap. Guys like this are the reason why people are so sue happy with truckers.

Worst employer I have ever had the misfortune of accepting a job offer from. They will tell you that they treat their drivers like "family" but as soon as they walk out of the office its nothing but negative and hurtful comments towards them. Jeff Holderness, their VP of operations, specifically is impossible to work with and will continue to run employees out of the company with his standoffish and judgmental attitude.

I accepted a position in their dispatch department and within the first week realized what a terrible work environment they offer to not only their drivers but their office staff. This place is absolute misery and if you do decide to work with them in the capacity of an employee or a customer I wish you the absolute best of luck because you will need it!

I have worked at North Star Ranch for a little over 3 months and love working here. Probably one of the best jobs that i have worked at! They let me run the way I want to run and keep me moving.

I have worked for North Star Ranch since September 2015. I enjoy working here mostly because we are not like the big companies! We know our drivers by name and because I was driver myself I appreciate all that our drivers do for us!

I was the driver recruiter for this company. They are the worse company to work for. They actually pay the driver only 10% of what the load makes. They also charge the driver for repairs and fuel and take money from thier checks without the drivers knowing. Run from this company. worst of the worst!

North star has been driving well over the posted speed limit on my private road for over a week now. There are small children getting on and off school busses 3 times a day here. I called the office to complain, and I might as well have been talking to a brick wall. I guess my next step is the calling the Oakland county sherif and the weigh master.
