It's really quite in the morning almost like the jobs done before it even opens

The people are overall laid back and let you do your job without being down your back. I never had a problem with the owners they were always pretty friendly, I do think that the pay could be better but I would say the company had more pros than cons.

Owners are great. Shop is good takes care of your Truck. Dispatch and Payroll are a joke never know if your paid right because you never see your paycheck stubs until the payroll lady feels like it. Owners need to fire everybody in the office and start all over again. Dispatch is a complete joke. Maybe you'll work one day but they can't call you and let you know. Expect to sit by the phone all day because dispatch dont give a darn about you.

I've worked for Northland almost twenty years. Have drove truck 45 years and nobody has treated me better. Northland always pays on time and for everything I do. I'm 62 years old and will never work for anyone else. Northland has stood by me through thick and thin. I'd drive through the gates of Hell for Elmer and Norman. And if you had trouble with payroll, it was probably how you did your paperwork? Sandy always paid me right.

Great company to work for owners and dispatchers are amazing and respectful pay is excellent!.dispatch gets you home on time.

This company is garbage at its best! They always mess up your pay check, the owner is a drunk, and his brother is rude. They will fire you over txt message, and will lie to you constantly. There's many other companies to work for.

Company definately pays layover pay company does pay well owners are laid back.my suggestion is make COPIES of ALL YOUR RECEIPTS AND PAY STUBS!Make copies of everything! They have a lady/sandy is in payroll that will mess up your check every week. She can't do MATH confused as to how she's still EMPLOYEED?!

I drove behind a driver from this company on Hwy 46 In Kettleman City, CA to Atascadero CA approx. 75 miles. This driver was doing 65 - 70 mph all the way never slowing down even in construction zones. he was hauling heavy equipment, with an oversize load, no pilot car, in heavy winds. This driver had no regard for other drivers on the road. CHP was called and happy to report was pulled over after the CHP followed him for over a mile when he finally pulled over. Like to know where they get these drivers.

The owner is played back it's true you can get stuck in another state the pay rate sucks and every week I had to call about my paycheck which some one doesn't know how to calculate the right numbers.

The owner is a great guy. Most of dispatcher are ok. Some is not. Be careful. You cans get stuck in another state with no pays for the layover. You cans be waiting for more than a day for loads to coming back. Something wrong. They have business with busy office. Many truck driver poor. Having family with mouths to feed. Office people fat and making the monies.
