In 1946, Charlie Otto and his brother founded Otto Bros. Transfer with one gas-powered rig for hauling livestock, beer bottles and granite from Delano, throughout the Midwest, and even to Pennsylvania, traveling the tiny two-lane roads common back then. After a couple years and many miles together, the brothers chose to part ways for new pursuits.
Otto Transfer and its drivers-best known as "the pole haulers"-are experts in moving oversized and one-of-a-kind freight. While most of our loads are extra-long, super-wide, or oddly shaped, 75 years in trucking has equipped us to move any freight, anytime, safely and efficiently. Located near Minneapolis, we haul full, partial and expedited loads throughout the United States and Canada.

I had a load of lumber and poles delivered and couldn't be more pleased with their service. They delivered into the middle of nowhere, placed everything with a crane-equipped truck exactly where I asked, and were finished in a matter of minutes. Further, before delivery there was clear communication of delivery time, confirmation of address, and they were within the minute on time of when they said they would deliver. Perfect service!
