With 30 acres at our disposal, Portland Container's CY is the second largest in Portland and one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest.

Hi All - I was very satisfied with my buying experience here. I worked with Mike the salesguy. It was pretty straightforward. We went out in the yard and I inspected a candidate 40 foot container. It was in good shape with just a few overpainted dents. Mike took care to note the container number and we went into the office and filled out the paperwork.
Then he called his transport service. I was lucky as this was a Friday and the transport guy could haul it on the following Monday. Everything went very smoothly. Mike passed along some basic wisdom about containers : block them up on railroad ties so the local cats can chase critters out from under the container so they don't establish a home under your container. Humidity is really not an issue as long as the stuff you put into the container isn't full of moisture.
Don't put anything into the container that is hurt by freezing (unless you are planning to heat your container). I am very happy with around $3500 for 8x8x40 foot dry storage space delivered!
