1000% recommend Rainbow Movers. Erin helped our Mom downsize and move to an assisted living facility. She came out a few times and helped review Mom's stuff to make decisions about what to bring, consult with the new location, and review layout and photos of the new space. She worked with the facility on selecting possible moving dates within our target window, and coordinated with the facility on gaining access. Erin came and packed everything up, taking photos of knick knacks to ensure they were "correctly" arranged upon "unpackment." She helped guide us to make key decisions onsite, on the move date, after packing up.

Her moving crew was great - my observation was that they were considerate, friendly, professional and trustworthy. She moved all of Mom's special plants and fancy glass plant containers in her car to ensure their safety. Erin and her crew moved everything in, taking great care to unpack and arrange everything making it so homey and cozy. She kept in touch with us throughout the process, ensuring that we picked up a few key items we hadn't realized we needed like a shower curtain, etc.

I truly cannot imagine having made this highly challenging and emotional move for Mom with any other company. My Mom loved that it is a woman-owned company. Like my brother (who was in the new place on moving day) said, with no disrespect intended, "whatever we are paying this woman it was worth it." Five full stars for Erin and the rest of the Rainbow Movers crew.

I have hired Erin and Rainbow Movers twice, specifically to move my mother who is in her 80's. Erin showed up after we had mom out to keep her busy, and packed up her entire space, had the staff move everything, and created an incredible, warm, beautiful space at her new residence. Everything was done, from the bed being perfectly made to mom's art on the wall, to the family pictures in place to welcome my mother home. Erin also has an incredible eye for making a space feel inviting.

She is very responsive to any questions or concerns I had and followed through on every text and phone call. As a woman that owns my own businesses, this kind of service by a locally-owned, independently-owned, woman-owned business is a rarity in this world. The care and attention to detail was incredible. Exceptional service for an international move! Hard-working, efficient, smart smart smart, careful, kind, and fast. The crew double-checked all packing several times through the process and took an accurate inventory as they packed. Fully masked throughout. This part of a stressful move could not have gone better!

I confirmed a 2pm home visit for a moving estimate and took an afternoon off work at the hospital to be present. The driver texted at 1pm to ask if I still wanted the visit today to which I replied immediately only to be told he had decided to move on to RI appointments for the day and was unavailable. I certainly will not entrust moving my belongings with such an unprofessional company.

Called Rainbow Movers on a short notice when I found out my previous mover was no longer available. I spoke with Jim and he gave me a few options regarding my move. We arranged the date, price, and he said Jon and Alex would be the movers coming. They touched base with me earlier in the day to give me the approximate time of arrival and called when they were a few minutes out.

Right on time and these two guys are amazing. In 90° + heat and humidity they never stopped working. They were careful and professional. I really can't say enough about how great my experience was. Not a nickel more than what I was quoted and nothing damaged etc. Highly recommend Rainbow Movers (not to be confused with North American) and will be most definitely be using them again for my moving needs.

Mitch, his son and Ryan were awesome today! Unloaded 49 boxes and 5 crates. THEN they proceeded to unpack and unwrap EVERYTHING! So professional and personable. I'd work with them again anytime!

Working with Rainbow Movers was fantastic! We were already committed to another moving company when a friend referred me to Rainbow. I had a virtual consultation and was so impressed by how thorough they were. and the added customer service support that we switched. The crew that moved us was so awesome! They worked quickly and efficiently through a heat wave.

There was concern at one point the truck would not fit our adtl storage unit, but the customer service team and crew were fantastic keeping us informed the whole time and working through the best solution with us. Then in the end the crew leader seemed to literally work magic and made everything fit. We are so happy with their work, and excited to refer them to friends & family!

I've worked with Rainbow Movers consistently about every week or every other for the last 3 years. They are amazing (I work directly with Kim) and in all of that time, I have not had one issue that I can even think of which is unreal for any business and especially in transportation. Their pricing is competitive, service is fantastic and they have a great team all the way around and that starts with the ownership. Super impressed with them and can't recommend them highly enough. I fully trust them with my best clients' commercial moving business.

Erin is amazing! We hired Rainbow Movers to help move my parents from their family home of 47 years to a condo. Needless to say, this was a huge undertaking and Erin handled it with professionalism and ease. Her background in geriatric psychology helped with the emotional part of the move as well. She cleaned, organized, managed details and even set up my parents' bedroom from bedding to lamps to pictures when we got to the condo. Couldn't have done this without her!

We got three quotes for our instate move and storage. Carl was super friendly and helpful during the walk-thru. The quote was the best of all three companies. Today was our moving day and John, Josh and Angel were there exactly when we were told they'd show up. They were very professional, extremely courteous and careful with our items! So far so good! Our items are in storage for 6-7 weeks so I'll be back to leave a review on the other end of our move!

Rainbow Movers were fantastic. Erin coordinated my mother's move to assisted living and was friendly and helpful. She responded to me quickly with a fair estimate. The truck showed up exactly when expected and Sam and John got to work immediately and efficiently packed and loaded everything. We had art work that needed special packing for storage and they did a fantastic job. Sam did an amazing job keeping everything going smoothly. I highly recommend this company, they are very professional and treated my mother's belongings like they were there own.

This company is amazing. I had a client with a particularly difficult move. They were so calm, pleasant and flexible in handling all of the unexpected problems. Absolutely professional. It made a very difficult situation manageable.

These people do not care. We used them as a third party to pick up a large package. We scheduled the pick up with them and asked them to reschedule as we would not be home. They insisted that we could leave the package outside instead of rescheduling and they would leave us a note verifying that they would pick up the package. I thought that is great (how naive am I).

I arrived back home and found no note and about a $1,000 worth of damage to my fence. My neighbor confirmed that a large truck hit my fence and the vendor confirmed that the item had been returned. I called and left a message with the moving company and after many attempts trying to get a hold of their "operations manager" I still haven't heard back. It has been a month and a 1/2.

ABSOLUTE CROOKS! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Quoted my parents $15,000 to move from Plymouth, MA to Texas and the last piece of paperwork they signed stated $14,700. Truck arrives in Texas and they said it was more than they expected and said it's now $21,000. Said if they didn't pay it they would put their stuff in storage. While my parents literally have the truck waiting outside their new home.

They tried to call and get in contact with the company but surprise, surprise NO ONE ANSWERED. Instead they told the driver to tell my parents to pay or they were to leave and drop the stuff in storage. My parents were forced to pay to get their belongings back and then all furniture and boxes were dropped in the house without an inventory. I have moved while in the military 6 times and NEVER have I seen anything like this. Legal measures will be taken. BUYER BEWARE-ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED YOU COULD TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS.

We received a furniture delivery from Z Gallerie who outsourced the delivery services to Rainbow Movers. Rainbow's delivery staff was rude.didn't have sufficient tools on hand.damaged my wall. The slats to the bed were too long so they decided to cut them with a hand saw (the only thing they had in their rental truck). They cut without measuring.caused splintered ends.boards ended up short.

They only cut from one side now causing holes to install center support legs to be no longer centered and impossible to install support legs. They shrugged it off, telling me to call Z Gallerie customer service to get it fixed. Rainbows staff was only interested in getting in and out quickly. Shoddy workmanship and poor customer service. RUDE!

I used Rainbow movers to actually clean out my house to get it ready for sale. I believe they call this "downsize moving". I actually live in Beverly Hills, California but I needed to sell my family home in Massachusetts. I'm all by myself and I only had seven days to get everything out of a house that had 45 years worth of memories crammed into it.

After 2 days, the house was completely empty and everything I wanted was put into storage. I didn't even have to pack a box! I just had to put the stuff I wanted aside, and everything else in the house was either donated or discarded. If it weren't for this company, I honestly don't think I could have sold my house at all. Erin, the owner was fantastic!

She was responsive and very patient with me (I kind of felt like I was going insane). Everything was taken care of and I didn't have to worry about anything. And I know I'm used to California prices, but it was less than I thought it would be.

Horrible customer service and family owned so they all rely on one another for a paycheck. Sister Erin "owns" the company: brother Jim "sells" and nephews move. Again! Buyer beware. They do not follow through w their "promises" and they literally ghost you on the other end. They say they will wrap and pack your things: they wrapped my plastic laundry basket but neglected to wrap any of our outdoor furniture which resulted in damage. I will be reporting rainbow to the better business bureau in MA and I suggest you all do as well. Do not use! Trust these reviews.

I ordered a mattress from purple mattress and they outsource their delivery to rainbow movers. Rainbow called me twice Friday to confirm they would deliver on Saturday (yesterday) any time between 2p and 6p. Fine. So I set up my new bed frame and pushed my old mattress into the hallway. 6p rolls around and where's my mattress? I don't know. Did anyone call me to say the delivery would be late or postponed? No. Did I call Rainbow a dozen times without a response? Yes. Did I have to sleep on the couch last night? Yes.

Now I have pretty bad health problems and severe chronic pain. I CANNOT be sleeping on the couch. It's why I got a purple mattress to begin with. Still no call and no delivery in sight. This is the most unprofessional moving company I've ever come in contact with. Where is my mattress?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

They are the best people and that's just part of what makes them the best movers!

Used this company twice in the last few years for complicated moves with at least 3 locations each time. This time from Swampscott to Sharon to Brookline and back to Sharon. Last time in various locations from Canton, to Stoughton and Sharon. Everything about both moves was professional and considerate of our belongings and our needs. They were a little late arriving this time but the customer service throughout the day made up for it for sure.

Both times we needed the crew to travel to multiple locations i.e. storage or our daughter's new apartment. There wasn't one complaint moving things up and down stairs, in and around small hallways, around chandeliers and in and out of narrow elevators. Each piece was carefully wrapped and the movers were respectful to one another and all who they met. Will use for all my future moves.

We used Rainbow Movers to move my family member to an assisted living and Erin was so accommodating and easy to work with in terms of setting up everything. The three guys who did the actual move were polite, knowledgable and did an amazing job of packing up everything from one place to the other. I would highly recommend Rainbow Movers!

Horrible horrible experience, please use anyone other than Rainbow. We used them for a relocation from Massachusetts to Florida, and unfortunately had to use them to store our possessions for a period of 2 months. When our items were scheduled to be delivered, they had to split our load. I think that is where the problems started. As a result, we are still missing several furniture pieces, had damaged items, and are missing boxes that were just numbered with no details as to what the contents were. Will never recommend them to anyone. Beware.

I've been waiting for my bed to be delivered for over two weeks, and yet, they keep rescheduling my delivery! Completely unacceptable service. I was forced to use them through Wayfair, but if you have the choice, use someone else!

This was a painless move cross-country with rainbow movers. They were prompt, professional, accommodating and available for communication whenever i needed them. From the guy who came over for the initial quote to the dispatch gal who kept me informed about our eta for delivery; they all took pride in their work and it showed. We have moved several times and this was our first time using north american van lines.

We have had a couple of disgruntled drivers with other companies, and if you have moved before you know this can be hel! This time our driver- Ron from New Hampshire- was awesome. Friendly prompt and professional. The price was the same as other quotes we had gotten, but north american did not charge an additional fee for a shuttle on the back end.

Other companies did and we actually ended up needing it as we live on a narrow street. We chose north american- rainbow movers because of the customer service we received from the first contact. It lasted throughout our entire move with every person- i cannot recommend them enough for a big move!

Claudia was spectacular! She explained everything fully, and brought us used boxes, packing paper & tape twice! Sarah took care of all of the paperwork very thoroughly & professionally. Wallt & Skip did an incredible job packing! Overall, it's been the best moving experience we've ever had in 35 yrs & 8 moves.

The staff were friendly and generally responsive, but North American was the usual big bad van line to deal with (poor compensation for breakage during the move), and all the assurances from Rainbow were in the end useless.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. This company is, BY FAR, one of the worst I have ever dealt with. They were used by Restoration Hardware for a fairly large delivery order. They canceled the first time they were supposed to come, called 7 TIMES that week to reschedule because they had failed to write down the date I gave them the first time.

When they came back that Saturday, they were 2 hours late for their window, and obviously failed to call to tell me they'd be late. They didn't bring in the slipcover to my chair, and after calling the delivery truck, they said they found it and would bring it back. But the guy ran to the door and ran away, only for me to see it was cushion covers and not the slip cover.

I then spent TWO WEEKS trying to track it down from them. They wouldn't call me back, wouldn't follow up, and tried to blame things on me saying that I had signed for the delivery. The. Worst.
