We are a full-service marine surveying and consulting company founded in 1968 by Don Hale, USMMA, Class of 1948. Sabine has grown over the years through expansion and acquisition. At present we have nine (9) office locations: Corpus Christi, Houston, Port Arthur, Lake Charles, New Orleans, Mobile, Cape Canaveral, Norfolk, and Paducah.
Our staff of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) Accredited Members are available to determine the value at any stage in the vessel's life cycle. Our staff of experienced Marine Industry Auditors are available to support your compliance, control, and good practice efforts. Taking on fuel is a costly and time-consuming operation.

Captain Pereira, a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, joined Sabine Surveyors in 1991 as a staff surveyor after a career aboard ship. He worked in various positions throughout the company until 2016 when he became the President. Captain Pereira's duties include the responsibility for operations in eight (8) offices in major seaports along the U.S. Gulf and East coasts.
