I ordered a catalytic converter for my pickup in California. (DEC Direct Fit California Catalytic Converter TOY93285). I knew that you needed a special CAT for CA so I made sure to shop their site for one that was "california legal" for my truck (yes, you have to put in your engine number). TruckChamp sent the part with decent service, but after installation the smog shop would not smog it because that part/model# was not California legal for my pickup!

The smog guy showed me the online.pdf file from CARB which did not show that make and model number. When I went back to TruckChamp with this information, they told me that it was CA legal as far as they knew, and I would have to take any complaints up with the DEC manufacturer! Advertised as legal, and then passed off the problem to someone else! The bottom line is, THEY DON'T KNOW, NOR DO THEY CARE IF THE PARTS THEY SELL ARE **ACTUALLY** California legal. They won't stand behind it.

I purchased a set of running boards and was pretty happy with it until the plastic started warping and starting falling apart. I emailed them and they tried selling me four replacement pieces for about $60, screw that! I went ahead and ordered a brand new set of running boards from another company that seems to have better quality.

I ordered a Trifold cover for my F150 3 years ago and it arrived quickly. Last year, a pin in one of the clamps had worn thru so I called them. They not only sent the pin but the entire clamp assembly. I found their customer service very helpful. I plan on going to their shopp this week when my new truck comes in to get another trifold and a bed mat.

Make sure not to shop from this joint again. I ordered a catalytic convertor for my car in California. Took week to come and installed it and it was making loud noise. Called them to get another replacement part no one was willing to help. basically passing the bucket around. I even called MagnaFlow and talk to few people they said normally they will issue a credit where the vendor will send another unit ASAP. Took two weeks could not resolve. Spoke to three people.

One Mosses another was ED. Last person was Terra. She told me that I have to return the unit first I need to remove and send it to them than they will send another unit. Kind of stupid. Basically It cost me $90 to get it install and according to this stupid customer service person I have to another $90 remove it and send it to them with their prepaid return slip.

It will take another week to get to them. After getting they might take another two or three weeks to process it. The way they work is very efficient. Bull! After that it will take another week for me to get the replacement part. That will be 2 months past. I told this so called Terra please get me my money back she told me still I need to send the unit to get my money back.

I received their prepaid return slip. I filed dispute @ BBB and contact my lawyer too. Following day a person call Dave leaves me a message saying that I will be getting a unit today 04/10/2014. Than Dave calls me back and leaves another message 04/11/2014 that I do not have your information and wanted to talk to get the information and leaves another voice mail saying that I will not be getting my catalytic convertor.

Another idiot (DAVE), how can that be all my information is in their system. Why?he forgot to do his job properly when he left the message yesterday 04/10/2014 he should have checked into all the details. What a messed up Company? I called him twice today 04/11/2014. Could not get a hold of him. Because of them I cannot drive my car. Waited three weeks.

Every time when I call it takes about two to three minutes for them to answer the phone. You ask someone to call you back, never does. Poor customer service. Awful ownership and management system. They took my money but provided me with a defective product tried to get a replacement part took three weeks could not resolve. Now I will find another way to recover my money from this JOINT. DO NOT SHOP FROM THIS TRUCKCHAMP.COM

I ordered two sets of Window vents for 2 cars 12 days ago and truckchamp.com only shipped one product. Then I called their customer service. They never returned my call or email within 3 hours. Then I called 3 times to get a hold of a supervisor who called them and got back to me and said they might ship out today or tomorrow. This supervisor at TruckChamp.com told me their vendor would not ship out overnight at all, even as an apology for getting the order wrong. Truckchamp.com has their vendor drop ship orders placed on their website for these window vents, somehow messes up the order to their vendor then points the finger at the vendor as an excuse to not provide any relief other than a refund.

Now I need to roll the dice to see if another vendor for this product doesnt put me through the same ordeal. It should be unacceptable in this day and age to take 3 hours from a customer service call and not respond in some fashion with a status update requiring me to place 3 more calls to avoid voicemails from a company that proclaims top notch customer service ratings in their telephone hold music and on their website. Additionally, it should be unacceptable that the vendor ships one item of 2 on the order and they didnt already know about it long before I called to ask about it. Truckchamp.com has a long way to go to catch up with even small ebay vendors customer service levels and therefore gets a 1 star review which I consider charitable since there isnt a 0 star review.
