United States Customs and Border Protection has announced a new rule, known as the Importer Security Filing (ISF) or more commonly called 10+2; which requires cargo information, for security purposes, to be transmitted to the agency at least 24 hours before goods are loaded onto an ocean vessel for shipment into the U.S. 10+2 is pursuant to section 203 of the SAFE Port Act, and requires importers to provide 10 data elements to CBP, as well as 2 more data elements from the carrier.

Vantage was an incredibly helpful service for me throughout my first shipment of my product shipping from China. I had some household goods coming into SFO from Europe as well. As someone inexperienced with goods going through customs, I was extremely concerned about the process and have the goods deliver to my home. Vantage, especially Kash, was extremely helpful and made the experience pleasant and easy. My goods were cleared and they were delivered the next day.

I needed to ship my vehicle to Seattle and had to find a Customs Broker there. I called a few places, but when I spoke to Monique at Vantage Point Services I knew they were the ones to use. Monique answered all my questions, explained the whole process, and updated me along the way. She provided me with all the documents and help I needed to clear my vehicle quickly and easily and made the whole thing stress free. VPS was also very affordable on top of all that.
