I've been here 3 years now. I'm one of the original drivers in the Short haul/ Regional division. If you put in the time and do the work you Will make good money. I'm home every weekend and sometimes during the week. It's not a perfect company but in 30 years experience it's a top 5 company to work for. People know you by name. They know where you like to drive and where you don't care to go.

No forced dispatch. President of company really does care about drivers. He will sit down and discuss any problem you have along with other members of management that will do the same. Very family oriented. Only downfall is their trailers could use a bit more TLC. However most of the trailer problems come from lazy drivers not calling repairs in. I gave them 4 stars cause 5 means they are perfect and no company is perfect

Not quite what I expected it to be, my experience was less than a good one. Maybe it was better before the family sold out to the new owners. Maybe it was just my personal experience as well. I was surprised that a company with a 4 digit DOT number wouldn't have figured out a more efficient and effective Dispatching Service System. Or it could be that Bruce is just a bad Dispatcher.

Don't pay their bills, fixed their truck along the road and never got paid, keep giving me the "we will get that out right away" and it never shows.

I have worked here for Two years now as a Lease purchase driver. I've had a great experience, I make good money, and I like working here. Now I'm not going to tell you it's been all peaches and cream. It's like any other Company. You just have to find your niche and tweak it out to work for you. Anyone who complains about it that they're not making money, they are probably the biggest reason why.

They usually want one Big paying load and want to go home all the time. Which I'm totally about. But, if you have a note, you gotta work and plan your time off so you don't get in the hole. It's what you make of it. I'll be here for a while. I run on the Port Allen relay and I'm happy working here.

Every one is friendly and professional. There are a lot of loads available mostly drop and hook. Unfortunately the rates are too low for an owner operator. Deadhead is excessive which lowers your per mile rate significantly. This pertains to the dry van division. You have access to a open loadboard. But unfortunately the number of brokers Warren works with is very small which limits your ability to get freight from an area where Warren doesn't have customers.

Customer appointments are also an issue with a load available on Thursday that can't deliver until later in the week. This appointment conflict also cuts into profit because you can't make money if your under a load parked. After hours/weekends you are on your own. Night dispatch has very limited abilities. I've been here 1 1/2 years and unfortunately instead of figuring out how to make money I've just watched rates drop.

I'll be moving on to an open board company as the rates are going up currently. Drop and hook can't pay the bills any more. I think the biggest problem is CES lease operators who take way too cheap loads and don't really understand the trucking business. These guys are ending up with.80 a mile after fuel. I'm not going to compete with that.

Their contract is not designed to benefit the driver in any way. And they aren't honest with the drivers on how they figure the rates. And for if you terminate your contract there are guidelines that they prefer to keep silent about until you sign up, then they have you. If you leave at the six month period you are not liable to be penalized for more truck payments. However, they will hold the maintenance fund for 45 days as well as your last paycheck settlement. Afterward, if they haven't found a way to keep it all, you might receive a check in the mail for the balance.

If you sign up, all I can say is be prepared to be taken advantage of. The freight rates are not as good as they claim and they generally are at just above break even point. They lie cheat and steal from the contractors in a way that is legal on paper, but it is still wrong. They act as if they care in orientation, but after you start they don't carry their end of the deal. And won't do anything to fix the problems, only throw you a big line of BS to try to get you to stay. I say, Good bye and good riddance.
