Inspiration for a truck show in Waupun began many years ago after some community members went to an event called "Touch-a-Truck". While many see "big rigs" rolling down the highways, "Touch-a-Truck" enabled spectators to see the awesome vehicles up close and even look inside. Now in its 33rd year, the event in Waupun has grown. In recent years, the Waupun Truck Show has averaged hundreds of trucks a year from all over the United States and Canada! Our event brings the beautifully detailed trucks to the show for everyone to enjoy and admire.

This is an excellent family event that happens 2nd Friday and Saturday in August. I have spent a Friday years ago checking out the vendors, looking at the trucks and watching the parade of lights (Friday night Parade starts at 9:00 p.m.). A great opportunity for people that don't know anything about semi trucks and Need to learn how value valuable the trucking's industry is to getting products and goods to our markets. That food just doesn't come from a grocery store!

Everyone loves a parade! Here you'll find two of them, weather permitting. The Friday light light parade is fun! Hearing the trucks with their beautiful lights and loud horns is exciting. Don't forget your ear plugs! We're here to show our appreciation for the TRUCKING INDUSTRY! It's the circulatory system of America! But PLEASE do something to make this event more accessible for disabled friends!

Truck N Show is a great event Waupun holds yearly. The best parts are the 2 different parades. Favorite of those two are when lights are turned all the way off downtown and the trucks are all lit up. Very loud so make sure to bring ear plugs for the kids. We made that mistake with our 2 year old. Very family friendly.
